We are pleased to announce selected projects on the topic "What does BiH mean to you?", within the project of the same name that the University of Sarajevo School of Science and Technology (SSST) is implementing in cooperation with the Konrad Adenauer Foundation in BiH. The authors of the selected projects are:
Alma Cocaj
Mirela Salihović
Rea Memić
Sara Ristić and Emina Šehić
The members of the Selection Committee were: Benjamina Karić, Mayor of Sarajevo, Senada Bratić Palo, Project Coordinator of the Konrad Adenauer Foundation in BiH, Elma Tataragić, Screenwriter and Professor of Screenwriting at the Academy of Performing Arts in Sarajevo, Emir Ganić, Executive Director of the University SSST and Mersiha Muranović, Production Coordinator at the Sarajevo Film Academy of the University SSST.
University SSST expresses its gratitude to the Mayor of Sarajevo Mrs. Benjamina Karić, who has, as a member of the Selection Committee, recognized and supported the importance of this initiative. This year's project aims to support and help achieve a greater degree of inclusion of women in the field of culture, i.e. film art. The exciting project "What does BiH mean to you?" provides a platform for young directors and audio-visual artists to make a short film about their views on society and the time we live in.
All applicants will be invited to a special reception organized for them at the Sarajevo City Hall, which will be hosted by the Mayor of Sarajevo. On that occasion, the current and future projects of all applicants will be discussed, as well as the possibilities for their realization.
University SSST in cooperation with the Konrad Adenauer Foundation in BiH announced in March this year Call for Application to young female directors and audio-visual artists who want to make a short film addressing the question "What does BiH mean to you?" The producer of the project is Emina Ganić, director of the Sarajevo Film Academy (SFA) at the University SSST. In the upcoming period, the selected artists will work on the development of the script in cooperation with SFA production. Filming will be organized in the summer in Sarajevo, using SFA capacities.
